1989 - 2001

Abby was our first Kuvasz and taught us most everything we needed to know about to raise and train a Kuvasz.  She had a perfect Kuvasz temperament and personality, and was tough as old boots.  Abby was headstrong, but loyal and sweet.  She was the best and is still missed.

Kirby is my "first born".  He was out of my first litter by Ripley.  While Kirby exhibited good type and nice size, we were not happy with his temperament around strangers, he lacks confidence.  Kirby was neutered, as was his only sibling, and Ripley was never bred again.  Kirby is dearly missed in our household by all.

Mona

1993 2008

Mona came to me and stayed quite by accident but she was a beloved member of the family nonetheless.  Mona was not a good example of a Samoyed either in type or temperament and was spayed.  She was quite the character though.  Mona is also dearly missed.  She lived a good long life at Lambent.

This is Hayley, our foundation bitch - Champion Augustova Moon-Spinner.  Hayley has cleared all of her health tests including: OFA Hips, PennHip Hips, Elbows, Patella, Thyroid, vWD, and eyes and has DNA tested clear for prcd PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy - a degenerative blinding disorder).  Hayley loves everyone that she has met, is a good ambassador to the breed, and has made an exceptional mother.  Her breed type including structure and movement are exceptional.  Hayley is a wonderful companion at home and on the road.

Fattima wins BOB two of 4 days entered at the Kuvasz Club of America national specialty weekend in 2007 and takes home a Group 3 - the only Kuvasz to place in the group the specialty weekend of 2007! 

Champion Lambent's Cast a Giant Shadow

This is Fattima at about 6 months of age, still very much a puppy.  Fattima finished her Championship in short order and is currently enjoying a career as a "Special" where she enters Best of Breed competition in the hopes of earning a placement in the Working Group competition.  To date Fatti has entered the group ring only a few weekends and has earned a Group 2 and two Group 3's all breeder owner handled by Sue.  Fatti will continue to show on a limited basis.

This is Diana, owned by Karen Barnes of Gypsy Wind Kennels, and co-owned by myself.  Diana will become the next generation of Gypsy Wind Kuvasz, breeding her back to her own line of outstanding Kuvasz with excellent health and temperament.  Diana is one of the happiest Kuvasz you will ever have the good fortune to meet.
